Sympathetic and Understanding

Like most people, I know estate planning is very important. It protects assets and beneficiaries while allowing everyone to concentrate on the most important aspects of a loved one passing – mutual support and love.  Also like most people, I put it off and put it off.  When faced with a medical emergency in mid January I realized that I did not have the luxury of putting it off any longer.  I contacted Mr. Hal Prukop, Jr., late on a Tuesday evening, set up an appointment for the next day- Wednesday, and explained my predicament.  He was very  sympathetic and understanding.  He agreed to work the hours necessary to put together all of the documents I would need for my medical care staff, my long term relations and myself for durable power of attorneys , Wills and Trusts.  With my surgery the following Wednesday, Hal worked every day and over the  weekend to make sure that my entire estate planning package and my long term boyfriend’s reciprocal estate planning package were completed and notarized by Tuesday afternoon!
